Why, As an Illustrator and Developer, I Love the Macintosh

Al's picture
  1. It looks cool.
  2. Apple is a blue company.
Now that that is over with, it is time for my monthly bitchfest about how much Mac sucks and how much Mac users frustrate me with their inability to exercise even a single iota of critical thinking when it comes to their choice of hardware and OS.

I am forced to use a Mac at work. It's a dual G5 with 21" cinema screens, 4GB RAM, and all the bells and whistles. I even just got CS3 Designer pro on it. CS3 rules. Can't wait for CS4.

RIP Robert Rauschenberg

My mother would often take us to the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan. She worked very hard to expose us to all kinds of culture. Rauschenberg's work stood out to little me, and it sucks that he won't be making any more stuff.

Fun with the Future of Humanity

I wish I paid less attention to the presidential race. I'm scared the Hillary might win the nomination on her "just because I'm a woman and running as a democrat doesn't mean I can't pander as much to the worst in America like the Republicans do" platform. And a contest between her and John "More of the Same but Probably Worse" McCain would make choosing the lesser of two evils a hard pill to swallow.
